In the small Kolhapuri town of Jaisingpur, a family’s secret puffed rice bhel recipe was carefully guarded by its matriarch. Until one day in 1999, her family convinced her to share it with the world. Even today, she oversees the ingredients that go into each batch of her Bhadang.
