Lemon Pickle

This pickle does not contain oil. It is Handmade in small batches using ‘lacto-fermentation’ techniques.  We planted our fruit orchard 4 years back by getting saplings of the native variety KAAGZI, we got it from a very good organic farmer Rajshekhar Nimbargi who farms in a beautiful village, with his wife in the rural region of Karnataka. These lemons are bigger in size, juicy and nutritious than the modern seedless hybrid varieties which farmers grow only because they start yielding faster. Pickles are not just tingling flavour bombs that perk up meal time. Pickles are the most complex cultures of gut friendly microbes contained in the simplest of all ingredients. Pickling isn't an act of proportions and Ingredients. In India it was always an art.  That was tied to culture, season and family recipes.

Free from additives, artificial preservatives, synthetic fillers or binders. No chemicals.

Ingredients: Lemons, Raw unrefined sugar, himalayan rock salt, fenugreek seeds, turmeric powder, chilli powder and asafoetida.

Best before: 6 months from the date of packing.
