Thondi Rice (Parboiled)
Thondi Parboiled Rice is a nutritious and tasty rice traditional red rice variety native to Wayanad, and grown predominantly in northern Kerala.
This rice can be cooked in the pressure cooker or the traditional way in an open vessel (closed with a normal lid).
Parboiled rice takes longer to cook than raw rice. Rice with bran takes longer to cook than polished rice.
