Kichadi Samba Rice (Semi-polished, boiled)
Kichadi Samba Boiled Rice is one of the three fine-grained white grains of rice of Tamil Nadu. This tasty variety was a favourite of royalty.
The one-touch polish process leaves a part of the bran on the rice.
This rice can be cooked in the pressure cooker or the traditional way in an open vessel (closed with a normal lid).
Parboiled rice takes longer to cook than raw rice. Rice with bran takes longer to cook than polished rice.
